A TYPICAL DAY IN MY LIFE
Hey, readers! How have you guys been? I’ve had a pretty
good time settling into a new routine at my new home. For new readers, I
recently moved into Akisama Land’s Parklane OUG (lol please don’t stalk me
#perasantan).
Since embracing motherhood, I’ve learned to wake up early
(every single day) and juggle the needs of my children (every single second).
And also taking care of my husband (hi Mike! yeah he reads my blog too and is
my #1 fan XD)
6:00am
The sweet sound of the alarm! Thank goodness I can snooze for a
precious 10mins. Then, it’s time to get ready for the day. And time to get the
kids ready for school. Mike has his own separate alarm clock haha.

The kids are at school and Mike has left for work. I did the laundry
and vacuumed the whole place. Time for a quick pick-me-up cup of coffee and
then realised there’s no more instant coffee. And groceries are running low so
shopping! LOL. Popped over to the Mini
Mart which is conveniently at my doorstep.

Put away all the groceries and the pantry is well-stocked
again – yay me! With my cup of coffee (I’m on a budget!), I tapped away on my
laptop. Paid online bills, did market research for my clients all that work
stuff done so it was a pretty productive 2 hours.

Wanted an early lunch but didn’t want to drive far. Luckily, I stay in
OUG and there’s plenty of choices nearby. I enjoyed a simple and tasty meal at
J&E Little Kitchen. I really miss the delicious Curry Laksa now! Pssst… for any new
readers, do check out my first post (link here) where I blog about food..oh
glorious food.

Since I’m already outside, took the chance to run some errands. While
driving in my area, noticed that there was quite a steady crowd of people
walking towards to the LRT Station. If I’m not mistaken, it’s Kampung Muhibbah
LRT Station.
On the drive home, I realised it was probably less than 5mins to the
LRT station. Maybe I’ll give it a try and use the public transport. Especially
since now petrol is expensive and toll rates are up. Hmmm, shall give it a shot
this weekend.
That’s it for part 1 of my day, dear readers. I just
realised I need to step away from blogging because Mike had a meeting cancelled
and so we’re going out on an impromptu date. The romance is still alive <3
